The stunning steak and seafood restaurant will open in the historic Union Trust Bank building
The historic Union Trust Bank building may soon be your favorite place for an upscale steakhouse experience in St. Pete. The building has been undergoing major renovations, and all that work will pay off soon. Featuring steak, seafood, and stunning interiors, J. Fiore’s Contemporary Steakhouse will open in the building in mid-2024, according to recent coverage by St. Pete Rising.
“We are all-hands-on-deck right now,” Jim Fiore, the entrepreneur behind the building’s transformation and his namesake steakhouse, said in the St. Pete Rising coverage. “The 2,000-square-foot extension of the mezzanine is complete and the HVAC, plumbing, and electric is all being installed as we speak.”
The restaurant promises stunning interiors “inspired by Salvador Dali’s iconic surrealist phase,” opening at 895 Central Ave. late this summer. Details on the concept’s menus are not immediately available. What Now reached out to Director of Operations Adam Itzkowitz to inquire further about the menu. Itzkowitz was not immediately available for comment.
“Spanning across three floors, the upscale steak and seafood restaurant will encompass 12,000 square feet and is fully under construction,” says a recent Instagram post by Tampa Tomorrow. “The mezzanine, which extends the 10,000 SF of space to 2,000 by adding an extended L-shape, is said to be complete with all MEP currently being installed.”
Stay tuned for more about this exciting new steakhouse concept launching later this year.
